Board Member Josef Andrew T. Mendoza is an ex-officio member of the 9th Sangguniang Panlalawigan, being the president of the Philippine Councilors League-Bulacan Chapter. He assumed office in 2013 when he was elected president of the League. In the just concluded May 2016 election, he was re-elected for his second term as municipal councilor of the Municipality of Bocaue. Not long after, he was re-elected as president of the League during the convention of all the newly elected councilors from the 21 municipalities and 3 cities held lastAugust 1, 2016, thus paving the way for another three years of office for him as ex-officio member of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan.
Born on July 17, 1986 in Bocaue, Bulacan, Board Member Anjo, who is still single at 30, is the eldest son of former 3rd District Congressman Joselito R. Mendoza and Violeta T. Mendoza. The youthful board member finished his Bachelor of Science in Architecture degree at the Bulacan State University in 2009. Before coming to the Sangguniang Panlalawigan, he had worked as Director II of the House of Representatives Electoral Tribunal in 2010-2012.
Presently, Board Member Anjo chairs the Committee on Oversight and Legislative Affairs.
