SP Accredits 52 POs/NGOs

 As per Memorandum Circular No. 2011-73 of the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG), the Sangguniang Panlalawigan, from January to September 2013, had accredited a total of 52 people’s organizations (POs), non-government organizations (NGOs) and other organized groups as prerequisite for the selection of representatives to the Local Special Bodies of the provincial government. Among these organizations are associations of senior citizens, women, youth, homeowners, cooperatives, and many more.

Below is the complete list of the accredited organizations.

The accreditation process is still going on although the Sangguniang Panlalawigan, the one tasked to accredit the POs and NGOs, had set the deadline on September 23, 2013. This deadline was only for those organizations vying for representation in the local special bodies.
